FORCE MAJEURE FESTIVAL 2020 combines progressive physical research and creation process with leading international contemporary artists. The twelve day program is designed to embed professional track artists in cutting edge modalities that deepen their physical and creative skill-sets. Each day includes immersive training in floorwork, partnering, improvisation, and dance theater methodologies and culminates in a creation process that premieres to the public.

FORCE MAJEURE FESTIVAL is designed for dancers 18+
MIP2® is for dancers ages 15-18

FORCE MAJEURE presented by MIP® is an expansion of New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble’s (NJDTE) Educational Programming based in Summit, NJ and originally began as a collaboration with the Vancouver Arts Umbrella, Canada.

2020 FORCE MAJEURE FESTIVAL APPLICATION PROCESS:

We are still accepting video auditions for 2020 FORCE MAJEURE FESTIVAL.

Please Send: 1 Copy of CV, 1 Headshot, a short letter of interest, and a two minute YouTube or Vimeo link of your dancing.

Online Video Details: 2 minutes maximum – improvisation welcome – no editing please!

TUITION**: $1,585 USD ($550 USD Deposit + $35 Registration Fee to hold your place in the program due by March 31st + $1,000 USD remaining balance due by April 30th)

**No meals or housing are included in tuition. Housing arrangements and/or travel arrangements are at the discretion of each dancer/family. 
**No refunds are possible, as we must turn other dancers away. Please be sure that you are committed to joining us.

**As FMF is a small, selective program there are no scholarships available.
