This program is designed for the advanced dance student ages: 13-18. The program concentrates on strengthening the dancer’s technique with daily classes in ballet, pointe, modern and contemporary, variations, Pilates, and anatomy taught by renowned NJDTE & Guest faculty.

AUDITION INFORMATION

2024 Audition Dates: January 7th & February 18th

AUDITION LOCATION: NJDTE Studios
315b Springfield Ave, Summit NJ 07901

Audition Fee: $35 cash, check, or credit card due before the audition.
Attire: 

• Female: black leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes (pointe shoes if applicable), hair secured in a tight bun, no jewelry 
• Male: White t-shirt or leotard, black tights, black ballet shoes, if hair is long, secured back

IN PERSON AUDITIONS: Consist of a full ballet technique class for placement

VIDEO AUDITIONS:

Sending Materials: Upload to https://wetransfer.com and address to info@njdte.org:

• RESUME: include full name, date of birth, training/years of experience in ballet and modern techniques and pointe (if applicable), list of instructors, awards received
• PHOTOS: tendu a la seconde and first arabesque at 90 degrees
• VIDEO DANCE REEL: See below

Video Audition Requirements: Dancers Ages 12-15
Submit 1 video dance reel which demonstrates the following skills below: (4 Minutes Maximum)

• Ballet Barre: Plié, Tendu, Grande battement
• Ballet Center Work: Pirouette en dehors & en dedans
• Pointe Work: Waltz with pirouette en dehors & en dedans

2024 PRICING

2 Weeks: $1890 + $40 Registration Fee

1 Week: $1120 +  $40 Registration Fee

Payment Schedule:

February 15: Program PAID IN FULL or 60% tuition + $40 registration fee due

April 12: Remaining 40% tuition due
